In recent years, following a series of ransomware incidents affecting hospitals throughout Japan, the hospital felt a strong sense of urgency that such threats were “by no means someone else’s problem.” Recognizing the importance of an approach that ensures medical services continue even if an intrusion occurs, the hospital chose AppGuard, deploying it on about 70 servers that support its hospital information system.
