In recent years, several hospitals have been forced to suspend medical services for extended periods due to ransomware infections. In response to these incidents, Tsuyama Chuo Hospital took proactive steps to strengthen its preparedness—by developing contingency procedures, reinforcing endpoint security measures, and seeking ways to protect systems that are considered absolutely critical to hospital operations.
As part of this effort, the hospital adopted AppGuard Server, gaining a strong sense of reassurance and recognizing it as a cost-effective investment compared to the potential losses from a major cyber incident.
